Description
This vessel features a striking abstract design in black sgraffito lines on a red-orange ground. The glaze is enamel on copper in a pattern similar to hammered metal. It is only the texture in the glaze—the metal is smooth. It has a black interior and is signed on the bottom in white stencil. The top rim has a rough edge design—this is part of the manufacturing, not a sign of wear or damage.
